Nortel Meridian 1 Basic System Administration - course content (learning outcomes)
This training course will enable the delegate to use the Meridian administration terminal to configure and administer the day-to-day changes needed to manage your system. The course covers release numbers up to Release 25.
On successful completion of this course the participant will be able to:
- log in/out of the Meridian and amend user details
- add and delete users
- create and amend extensions
- define handsets
- report/print out system definitions
- use TTY functions

- spare TN and DN
- add new extension
- change existing DNs
- assign DNs to digital sets
- FFCs (Flexible Feature Codes)
- pick up groups
- call forward
- group hunting
- list manager
- speed calling
- moving extensions
- call party name display (CPND)
- call barring
- manager/secretary features
- time and date
The course duration is one day.
Prerequisite knowledge: delegates should have PC awareness.
